We are kayaking Bull Run at the Stone Bridge in Bull Run battlefield. The gage at Blackburn's Ford was reading about 6' give or take a few inches. This is about twice as much as normal levels of about 3.0 - 3.2'. Rain had been falling through the week creating plenty of runoff explaining the water color.

We put in here the week previous. The water clarity was excellent and, of course, lower. The rocks along the bank and creek/river vegetation here are, unlike the previous week, submerged and obscured by the water.

Stone Bridge is property of the US Government and administered and operated by the National Park Service. The surrounding battlefields are the locations of two American Civil War battles.

There are other kayaking/paddling videos on my YouTube Channel.
